PROJECT: Package redesign, New website
Owner Bob Mullin wanted to update the label of his Cabernet Sauvignon he had been producing in the Dry Creek Valley. The existing design needed to be elevated to better reflect the quality of the wine, and also stand out amongst other fine Bordeaux blends in California. The name inspired us to recommend a custom illustration and icon that could be used across his branding. After several “bobcats”, one was selected that became the focus of the label. The branding decisions included a high end paper stock, emboss and deboss as well as cork and capsule design.
Following the new label, BOBCAT needed a new website that would introduce the new label and tell Bob and his wife Kathy’s story. We worked with photographer Kim Carroll in order to capture the vineyard, wines and family story. The website was intentionally simple and designed to be the main point of sale.
