PROJECT: Sponsorship negociation & management

Established in 1972, Dry Creek Vineyard is Dry Creek Valley’s flagship winery located in the heart of Sonoma County, California. Dry Creek Vineyard has been involved for years with the sport of sailing and wanted to get involved with the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup regatta in 2016. The regatta is the preliminary qualifying races for the America’s Cup.

Kim Stare Wallace, DCV President, approached us to help finalize the negotiation of their sponsorship plus manage the execution of the partnership. This included both the US Louis Vuitton Regattas in New York (May 2016) and Chicago (June 2016). Sponsorship activation included assisting with the negotiated sponsor benefits, managing pre-promotional production for wine tags, website promotional banners, social media posts, on site event execution at VIP and sponsor lounges, including wine service, social media, promotional collateral and assisting with on water client entertainment. It was a great pleasure to work directly with the America’s Cup Event Authority and the management company for the Chicago event, rEvolution World.

Mindy managed our Louis Vuitton America’s Cup sponsorship in New York and Chicago, working directly with the America’s Cup Event Authority to help us leverage and execute the sponsorship from pre and post marketing, to on-site event management. We could not have committed to this level of major sponsorship without Mindy’s help. It was a great pleasure to work with her and I would recommend Mindy to any wine brand looking for an experienced, talented marketing director, especially with a high profile project like this.Kim Stare Wallace, President, Dry Creek Vineyard
